The second T20I between India and Ireland was played on August 20, 2023 at Malahide Cricket Club in Malahide, Ireland. India won the match by 33 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series
India batted first and scored 185 for 5 in their 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad top-scored with 58 off 42 balls, while Sanju Samson made 40 off 26 deliveries and Rinku Singh scored 38 off 21 balls.
In reply, Ireland were restricted to 152 for 8. Andrew Balbirnie top-scored with 72 off 51 balls, but he got little support from the other batsmen. Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the Indian bowlers with figures of 2 for 15.
This was India's fifth consecutive win over Ireland in T20Is. The two teams will now play the third and final T20I on August 22 in Dublin.
